What does "current features" mean for Lifetime? Every feature listed on this page at the time you buy, plus all bug fixes and improvements to those features, forever. Brand-new feature areas added later may be subscription-only — you'll always be told before any change like that.

Yes. Monthly → Annual upgrades anytime, prorated. Subscription → Lifetime is also fine; we credit any time remaining on your current sub against the Lifetime price. Lifetime → anything is a refund situation — email us and we'll work it out.
You keep access until the end of your current billing period, then Plugr drops to read-only mode. Your existing scan, tags, favorites, and project library all stay visible — you just can't run new scans, check updates, or use paid-only features until you resubscribe.
The Deals tab stays fully accessible even in read-only mode, with ownership matching against your last scan.
Yes. The $149 figure is launch-window pricing while Plugr is establishing itself; we plan to raise it (to somewhere in the $179–$199 range) within the first few months of paid release. Buy now or wait — your call. We'll never lower it below $149 retroactively.
When you enter your license on a Mac, that Mac counts as one activation. You can deactivate any Mac from your customer portal (link in your purchase email) and re-activate on a different one — useful when you get a new computer or do a clean install.
Yes — 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked, for any reason. Full details on the refund policy page.
Not at launch. If you're a music technology educator using Plugr in class, email hello@plugr.co and we'll figure something out for your students.
Subscriptions help fund the ongoing work — keeping update info current for every developer, watching the deal sites, adding support for new plugin developers and DAWs as they show up. It's how Plugr stays alive and growing rather than fading the day after launch.
Lifetime is offered for folks who prefer buy-once-pay-once, with the understanding that some future features (like instant deal alerts) may end up as subscription-only add-ons.
Yes — at checkout, choose "gift" and enter the recipient's email. We'll send them the license without showing the price.
The 14-day free trial is the easiest way to decide. Full features, no card. If it doesn't change how you think about your library, just stop — you keep your data, no nags.
